I'm Souvik, a student for life, a UX and Visual Designer currently based in Bangalore and proud to be a part of Twist Open UX, a leading design studio known for its innovative solutions. With nearly 4 years of experience in the field, I specialize in creating valuable and user-centered experiences across various domains, including Banking, Telecom, Fintech, and social impact.
In my role at Twist Open UX, I tackle complex challenges head-on, crafting solutions that resonate with users while aligning seamlessly with business objectives. As a passionate advocate for UX, I constantly strive to learn more about emerging technologies, accessibility, and ethical tech, advocating for UX across different fields of work.
I am deeply aware of the impact our solutions have on people's lives, which is why I always give my best to create a seamless and delightful experience. My expertise extends to working within brand guidelines, design systems, and delivering high-quality visual compositions, layouts, and interface assets.
My story
My journey into design began unexpectedly. After completing my B.Tech in Automobile Engineering, I embarked on a career in law enforcement with the West Bengal Government. However, it wasn't long before I realized my true passion lay in design.
Embracing my newfound passion, I began freelancing for Indian clients, gradually delving into graphic design projects. It was during this time that I stumbled upon UX/UI design while working on a furniture website project. This experience ignited my passion for creating intuitive user interfaces and ultimately led me down the path of UX design.
Driven by a desire to make a meaningful impact through design, I've dedicated myself to honing my skills and expanding my knowledge in the field. Today, I'm proud to be a part of the vibrant design community, constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to grow.
In my downtime from designing, you'll likely find me exploring the best biryanis in town 🍛, diving into a good book📖, hitting the badminton court 🏸, sketching with pencil ✍🏼, clicking photographs 📷, cooking up new recipes 👨🏼🍳, and strumming on the guitar 🎸.
